Big Rock and Me

What, who, and where—
The questions I ask,
Of the people and places,
Destinations of past.

Ocean breeze wanders,
The tides been set free.
This Big Rock sits quietly,
With my thoughts and Me.

The cast of the clouds,
Drapes the reason I came,
But the lack of the people
brings peace just the same.

Night will win over,
Then sun will arise—
Tomorrow will bring
a new reason for tide.
